1. In the project, the connected part between the pump and the pipeline is often designed with a flexible rubber joint (scientific name is rubber joint, shock-absorbing throat compensator), which is mostly buffering.

2. The rubber joint for the pump is mainly used for damping, preventing the vibration of the pump running on the pipe and the deviation compensation caused by the pipe vibration, more convenient maintenance valve.

3. When installing the rubber joint, it is strictly forbidden to install it beyond the displacement limitation.

4. The installation bolts should be symmetrical and tightened gradually to prevent local leakage.

5. The working pressure is above 1.6MPa, and the installation bolts must have elastic pressure pads to prevent the bolts from loosening during work.

6. Both ends of the joint pipe should be vertically supported when installed vertically, and the rubber joint can be equipped with an anti-pull-off device to prevent it from being pulled off under working pressure.
